- “Total annual household income" includes the applicant's and their spouse's annual income, 30% of the annual income of unmarried children living with the applicant's household (if applicable), and any subsidies received from relatives or friends (if applicable).
- "Family members" usually refer to the applicant, their spouse, unmarried children living with the applicant's household, and parents supported by the applicant and/or their spouse.
- For single-parent families with two to three members, the (+1) in the formula's denominator will be increased to (+2).
